There’s just a bit of slop in this sway bar bushing. All of the slop, actually. The power steering high pressure line got a nice hole in it which jetted a nice stream of PS fluid right on the fan which slung it alllll over the underside of the car. $30 later a new line was in.

A crows foot, swivel extension, and a LOT of swearing were involved to get this bastard out. It’s the one in the lower right. Nasty. Unfortunately the parts store locally didn’t have the 15/16th of an inch sway bar bushings I need, so I ordered a pair off of Rockauto for $1.50 apiece. Should be here within a week or so, I hope.

Yeah, those fittings are not fun. The bushings will go much easier, especially if they’re split ones.

For sure. I’ll have to hammer that bracket back into shape though. The sway bar going clunk clunk has deformed it a bit.
